The American Program

We are an American curriculum school following the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) California framework for English Language Arts and Mathematics and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for Science. We also follow the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum for Arabic, Islamic Studies, Social Studies and Moral Education. The school is internationally accredited by AdvancED. Our curriculum offers a large breadth and depth of study with flexibility in learning pathways and addresses a variety of learning styles. We offer many opportunities for integrating the learning objectives from a variety of subjects, in a relevant and highly engaging manner. One of our focuses is supporting the innovation and development, especially in relation to the use of ICT and other technologies to implement a stronger understanding of our modernized society and to enhance and enrich learning across our curriculum.

Ministry of Education (MoE)​

The Ministry of Education curriculum used in schools in Abu Dhabi is a comprehensive and structured educational framework designed to provide students with a well-rounded education. It aims to foster academic excellence, promote critical thinking, and develop the skills and knowledge necessary for students to succeed in a rapidly changing world. The Ministry of Education curriculum encourages a multicultural perspective and promotes the appreciation of the local culture and heritage of Abu Dhabi. It includes modules on the history, language, and traditions of the United Arab Emirates, fostering a sense of national identity and pride among students.

All schools are required to teach Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, and Social Studies. For non-Muslims, Islamic Studies is not compulsory and Arabic for non-Arabs is provided.
